SEJARAH

The Faculty of Sports Science (FIK) was established in 2008. FIK started with the implementation of the Diploma II Sports and Health Education/POK program (1981/1982) at the Faculty of Education (FIP). In its development, according to the Decree of the Minister of Cultural Education of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 86/E/O/2012 dated March 5, 2012 concerning the Implementation of the Sports Coaching Education Study Program (S-1) at the State University of Malang, in the odd semester of 2012/2013 began accepting new students Sports Coaching Education Department/Study Program (PKO) (S1)

PROGRAM STUDI

Vision

Become a superior study program and become a reference in organizing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education in the development of science and technology in the field of sports coaching.
The excellence referred to in this vision is early childhood coaching. This is a special thing only in PKO. Excellence has been proven by the implementation of the PKO Kids Movement activities.

References can be indicated by the following indicators:

  1. The increasing number of other institutions or study programs conducting comparative studies in the PKO study program.
  2. The increasing number of PKO Prodi human resources who become sources for early childhood sports coaching at the National level.
  3. More and more human resources in the PKO Study Program have become resource persons in the field of coaching at the district / city, provincial and national levels.
  4. Lecturers and students of PKO Study Program become a talent scouting team for SD / MI Malang Raya students.
  5. Lecturers of the PKO study program become the committee / evaluation team in the implementation of the National O2SN.

Mission

  1. Organizing educational and learning activities in the field of sports coaching that center on students using an effective learning approach, and optimizing the use of technology.
  2. Carrying out research in the field of sports coaching, all of which are beneficial for the development of science and technology that is beneficial for the welfare of society.
  3. Organizing community service that is oriented towards community empowerment through the application of sports coaching.
  4. Organizing an autonomous, accountable, transparent, and responsible management system at the study program level that ensures continuous quality improvement.

  1. To produce graduates who are intelligent, religious, have noble, independent, and capable of developing professionally in the field of sports coaching.
  2. Produce superior scientific work and become a reference in the field of sports coaching.
  3. Producing an independent and productive society in the field of sports coaching.
